TechGig, The Economic Times, and ZS hereafter referred to as contest partners
Any Indian citizen over 18 years of age is eligible.
You can participate as an individual or as a team.
You can only participate in the contest with a single ID. A participant using multiple IDs to participate in the contest will be disqualified. For participants participating as a team, only the team leader will be able to make submissions.
Participant document verification will happen at any point of time during the competition solely at TechGig's discretion. Any discrepancy in the verification will lead to disqualification of participation. The decision in this regard will be solely at TechGig's discretion.
You undertake to indemnify TechGig or contest partners in case you breach any of terms and conditions listed herein.
Your participation is subject to terms and conditions listed herein, without any kind of liability or responsibility whatsoever on the part of TechGig or contest partners.
ZS strives to demeanor ZS Prize contest in fair, unbiased and free from conflict of interest. As such ZSers and Times Internet Limited employees are not eligible to participate in the contest. Any such entry, even if successful, would be deemed inadmissible for this contest.
Do not ask or discuss any aspect of any problem during an ongoing contest on any other platform, online or offline.
Do not try any dishonest means for participation or submission of the tests. If any participant is found guilty of dishonest means, he/she will be disqualified for the event
Once the final submission is done, the user agrees to the following:
Submission is fresh and written by him/her. If a similar submission is found in the contest, it will be treated as plagiarism and will lead to disqualification of the participant
Submission is final and no editing or change request would be raised further
If your submission is found matching with any of the submissions available in our database or on the Internet, it will be treated as Copied and will lead to disqualification of your participation.
You acknowledge that you have submitted your entry voluntarily.
Individuals are solely responsible for the security of their submission and must protect it from getting leaked, getting shared, and getting copied by their foes, friends, or just a random peer. TechGig, contest partners and its respective affiliates are not responsible for your submission security before final submission.
Winners for each round will be declared on the basis of evaluation mechanism, TechGig and contest partners hold the right to add, remove or modify evaluation criteria without prior notification.
The qualifiers of each round will be nominated for the next round as per applicable rule .
Winners of ZS PRIZE will receive cash rewards from the prize purse INR 1.5 Cr.
Prize distribution to the winners of the Competition will take place within 90 days of the announcement of the result. Any Change in above or in Participation policy will be at the discretion of TechGig or contest partners.
TechGig or contest partners will have the sole right to declare the winners. No appeal or request for re-evaluation will be entertained.
Prizes are non-transferable.
A proper background check will be done before distributing prize to the winners. Winners need to submit a scanned copy of their identity card along with employment letter (if any) and other documents as may be demanded by TechGig or contest partners in order to claim the prize amount. More details on the same will be shared over official email ID. For participants in Teams, the Team Leader's details will be requested for and used. Once the prize money paid to Team Lead, TechGig or contest partners shall not be responsible further for any query/ issue arising out of further distribution/non- distribution of prize money by Team Lead amongst other team members.
You assure that your submission will not violate or infringe any kind of intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Participants will own the intellectual property rights limited to their own idea submitted during the contest. However, TechGig or contest partners shall be entitled to use the same for the purpose of evaluation for the Program without any royalty.
You assure that your submission will not trigger any reporting or royalty obligation to any third party

Referral is open for everyone.
To refer friends, you need to be registered as a participant on TechGig.
From the Referral section, you can refer friends and colleagues to join the contest.
All communication will be sent to your primary email address provided at the time of registration.
By submitting the referral form, it is implied that the Referrer has accepted these Referral Terms.
Your IP addresses will be captured to ensure that the visits are authentic.
All communication will be sent to the official email address submitted at the time of registration.
TechGig or contest partners reserves the right to use contestants' names, images and other details like college name, company name etc for purposes of publication on print and online media or to share the same with jury
The TechGig or contest partners have a right to modify the format and prize at any time. Any changes will be notified beforehand on the contest website.
Whilst reasonable precautions will be taken to avoid confusions, in case of discretionary decisions, those taken by the TechGig or contest partners will be final and binding.
TechGig or contest partners reserves the right to make any further exceptions on a case-by-case basis at their sole discretion.
TechGig or contest partners are not responsible for any errors arising due to omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations or transmission; have a right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the challenge and at its sole discretion and disqualify anyone who does not adhere to these terms and conditions.
We will feel really terrible about it, but we will still disqualify you in case you are found guilty of any of the following:
Communicating or publishing information concerning the content of the problems, or solutions to the problems, and sharing it with other contestants, either directly or indirectly, before the end of the challenge.
Deliberately attempting to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest. Please note that this will be taken as a violation of criminal and civil laws. The organizers reserve the right to seek damages from the contestant as per law.
Violation of the copyrights/IP to the content that currently belongs to the contest organizers.
If any participant is found having multiple profiles while participating in the contest.
If any participant is found to have duplicate entry with another participant in the contest or have copy pasted a solution already available in public domain
